5 Bridges

Taken from Fu Hok, the tiger crane form in the Hung Gar system, the 5 Bridges exercise teaches how to apply leverage to subdue an attack as efficiently as possible. We also practice simultaneously attacking the weapon (the opponent's striking limb) to disable the threat instantly with cutting palms and forearms. There are no blocks in the tiger style! Every movement is a strike, lock, or takedown.
